We are excited to present our luxury retail design project for Thomas Markle Jewelers in Houston, Texas - a space where design, craftsmanship, and storytelling seamlessly come together. This project embodies the perfect blend of elegance and functionality, creating a truly immersive experience for visitors. From the stunning, nature-inspired design to the meticulously curated details, every element is crafted to reflect the timeless treasures displayed within. Design concept

The Thomas Markle space unfolds like an enchanting garden, inviting visitors to relax, explore, and connect. A double-layer-pergola with a tree-inspired chandelier hanging from the ceiling adds depth and dimension, reminiscent of sunlight streaming through trees. The VIP room, inspired by the calming essence of a pond, offers a private and reflective space adorned with shimmering accents and smooth, flowing textures. The meadow-inspired bridal area evokes a sense of wonder and romance, inviting guests to imagine their own wedding day. Nearby, a coffee bar offers a warm and welcoming place to pause and enjoy the moment.

Colors and materials

Rich, warm wooden elements, polished metal details, and soft natural hues combine with organic features to create a balance of tradition and innovation—a perfect reflection of the timeless treasures on display. Specially selected materials contribute to the boutique’s unique atmosphere—such as the Pergola metal mesh, woven in Spain, and the custom-designed bridal wallcovering by Philip Jeffries. A true highlight is the handcrafted chandelier by French designer Andreea Braescu, with each delicate porcelain blossom individually handmade. Another bespoke element is the VIP Room carpet, a hand-knotted wool creation in ten custom-dyed colors.

From vision to reality

The concept, design, and detailed planning were developed by Studio Tonic.
Realization - including project management, construction, logistics, and installation - was carried out by our partner company Obrist interior.
Covering more than 400 square meters, the boutique presents timepieces and jewelry from renowned brands in 50 elegantly curated display cases.
