Supporting tomorrow's designers today
Supporting young talent is something we care deeply about. Since the summer of 2025, Lea Zimmermann and Lea Bryner have been part of the Studio Tonic team, developing their skills and gaining valuable experience through their four-year apprenticeship as Interior Architecture Drafting Specialists.
Together with Helena Miladinovic, who is already in her fourth and final year of training, they represent the next generation of interior designers. Throughout their apprenticeship, they gain insight into the many facets of the profession, from initial concepts and visualizations to technical drawings and the detailed planning and realization of sophisticated projects.
Switzerland's dual education system combines practical experience in the workplace with a solid academic foundation. Three days a week, our apprentices work alongside the Studio Tonic team, gaining valuable hands-on experience in real projects, while spending two days at vocational school to further develop their technical knowledge and skills.
Working on real projects is an especially valuable part of their training. It allows them to experience firsthand how creative ideas evolve into unique retail and interior environments.
As a training company, we see it as both a responsibility and an opportunity to support young people on their professional journey. Through initiatives such as Future Day and our Discovery Days, we also aim to give other young people the chance to gain their first insights into the world of interior architecture.
